BSM2017 | Brand Experts’ Message for BSM2017 Students

The jury is national and international. It was a challenge as it was online and offline. But it was well achieved and thank you for all the support from the mentors, the tutors, and the teachers."

The members of jury, led by Professor Florin Baeriswyl, head of ISIB (Institute of Swiss Internationl Branding); are Dorothy Kohl, Head of KOHL Marketing Strategies, Giles Calver, Planning Director in Sedley Place; Rae Wu, Deputy Manager of DETAO Master Academy; and Coco Zhang, Head of SIVA Language Center, teacher of Branding Strategy and Management. For the 26 graduates, this is a precious opportunity to summarize what they have learned in class and be well-prepared for further journey outside university. One of the the most impressive students' presentations was about a fashion retail store in downtown Shanghai. The jury were amazed that a student could dovetail the responsibilities of a final year thesis and a startup business with such apparent ease. Students apply the branding strategies into a business context based on the 4-year program as well as internship experience.
